Do you collect telemetry?

At the moment we do not collect telemetry.

What information do you collect?

We collect no usage information. Our business model relies on licensing fees for the software no attempts are made at monetizing usage patterns. We simply license you the software and collect only the information we need in order to be able to generate the license key for you.

Do I need to be connected to the internet for licensing?

No you do not. We send you the license file which is tied to a machine generated code that you provide us. You can run and activate the software in a completely airgapped environment if you so choose.

Does the program auto-update?

No it does not. The software does not ping home and there is no way for us to push new versions out to you. Therefore, the user will have to download and run the installers for new versions.

Will I need to update my license after updating?

You likely will. Please email us at support@pnumerics.com with your Machine ID and we will generate a new license file for you.
